On the last day of Volunteers’ Week, we wanted to share our York Volunteers – Volunteers’ Week Report 2021-22 with you!
Over the past year (1 June 2021 – 31 May 2022) we supported an estimated 20,085 people to find local volunteering opportunities (that’s roughly 10% of York’s population!) We’ve promoted 252 volunteering opportunities for 120 local organisations!
We also launched our new Volunteer Recruitment and Management platform for York and we’ve been in contact with 275 organisations who we’ve supported with advice about a range of volunteering-related topics. Here’s just some of the feedback we’ve received…
