Signs of Safety – It takes a village – Networks and Connections
It takes a village to raise a child – yet in times of crisis or need, we often hear that there is no one else around.
Working Together 2023 and The Children’s Social Care National Framework 2023 clearly highlights the importance of connections and networks for our children and young people.
Our role as professionals is to support children and young people and their families in identifying existing support networks and connections children, young people and their families have as early as possible, seeking to understand who they define as their family, and who is important in their lives.
