Psychotherapist

ABOUT US
Impact North is a thriving third sector organisation, based in Leeds, with a social mission to improve child and family mental health. Established in Leeds for the past 13 years, the clinical team is made up of child and adolescent psychotherapists (ACP), art psychotherapists (BAAT), integrative child psychotherapists (BACP and UKCP) and play psychotherapists (BAPT). We have been providing a range of psychotherapeutic interventions across west Yorkshire and work in primary and secondary schools, family hubs, Area Inclusion Partnerships and with other statutory and non-statutory organisations.

ABOUT THE ROLE
This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference to the lives of children and families within the Leeds area, working with staff in schools, as well as a range of professionals including counsellors, emotional well-being workers and family outreach workers. Our schools have considerable experience, and appreciation, of therapists as members of their team. The role will involve providing a range of therapeutic services, including consultation, assessment, short/long-term individual and dyadic therapy with children and their parents/carers plus attendance at relevant meetings and opportunities for training and work discussion groups within the schools.

ABOUT YOU
We are looking for a therapist with experience of providing psychotherapeutic support to children and families, alongside experience of multi-agency liaison plus a well-developed capacity for autonomous working. An ability to form collaborative working relationships with a wide range of individuals is essential for this role. We welcome applications from individuals with an interest in service development and research in dynamic environments and who can bring innovative and creative ideas to help us extend our developing portfolio.
