This month is Gypsy, Roma and Traveller History month, a time to celebrate and to tackle prejudice, challenge myths and to amplify the voices of Gypsies, Roma and Travellers.

The theme of this year’s Gypsy, Roma and Traveller History Month is ‘Make Some Space’. As well as making space for teaching time, physical space and the authentic portrayal of Gypsy, Roma and Traveller people in TV and the media, allies are being asked to make some space in their days to educate themselves on Gypsy, Roma and Traveller histories and cultures and how to support Gypsy, Roma and Traveller people to uphold their rights.
