This week is Mental Health Awareness Week (9 – 12 May), and this year’s theme is ‘loneliness’. Throughout the week campaigns will encourage everyone to build meaningful connections with our friends, family, colleagues and communities. NHS – Every Mind Matters
You can find lots of information, support and advice on dealing with loneliness on the NHS Every Mind Matters loneliness webpage. The NHS are encouraging people to complete a Mind Plan quiz, to get a personalised mental health action plan with practical tips to help you deal with stress, anxiety, low mood and trouble sleeping, plus advice on how to cope with feelings of loneliness.
The Resilience Hub
The Resilience Hub offers support and advice to all health and care workers and their families, living or working in the Humber and North Yorkshire region, this includes VCSE sector staff and volunteers. The Resilience Hub is completely confidential and offers advice and support that can help with a range of issues.
