Small Charity Week celebrates and raises awareness of the essential work of the UK’s small charity sector, which makes an invaluable contribution to the lives of millions of individuals, communities, and causes across the UK and the rest of the world.

A small charity is a voluntary organisation with a social or charitable purpose with an annual income of less than £1 million.

This Small Charity Week (24 – 28 June), NCVO wants to highlight the invaluable work of small charities and raise awareness of the challenges they face. They are looking to spotlight organisations across all their channels this year. This is a brilliant opportunity to showcase your organisation.

They’re looking to:

  • Spotlight longer form case studies on the Small Charity Week website;
  • Share inspiring videos, photos and quotes on our social media channels;
  • Highlight the impact of small charities in national and regional news outlets.

They’re looking for stories from the following:

Small charities:

  • organisations who’d like to raise awareness about the work that they do,
  • volunteers who’d like to share what volunteering for a small charity means to them,
  • service users who’d like to share how they’ve been supported by your organisation.

Large charities:

  • large organisations who have collaborated or are currently collaborating with small charities.

Corporate partners:

  • local businesses or large corporations who partnered or are currently partnering with small charities.

If you have an inspiring story to tell, please get in touch using the short online form or email stories@ncvo.org.uk
