The Good Mental Health Project, is offering a new series of free wellbeing workshops to support mums and dads (to-be), partners and carers through the perinatal journey from pregnancy through to the first two years of parenthood.
These welcoming sessions are designed to help individuals and couples reflect, connect and learn practical tools to support their mental health and wellbeing in a safe, inclusive space. Each workshop offers a chance to pause, share experiences and build confidence during what can be both a joyful and challenging stage of life.
Workshops are being held at community venues across York throughout November, including The Avenues Children’s Centre, Marjorie Waite Court, and Hob Moor Children’s Centre.
Both antenatal (for those preparing for parenthood) and postnatal (for those in the early years after birth) sessions are available, with flexible times to make attending easier for families.
Babes in arms are very welcome — we want to make it as easy and comfortable as possible for parents and partners to take part.
If you have any accessibility needs or there’s any way we can support you to attend, please contact the team at tgmhp@yorkcvs.org.uk
