This statement sets out our commitment to promoting equality, diversity and opportunities for all, in everything we do. From representing our members to providing safe, inclusive meeting and working environments for our staff and volunteers, we are dedicated to eliminating stigma and challenging prejudice.
We are also committed to continually learning and improving our approach to equality, diversity and inclusion to fulfil our role in supporting and representing York’s voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) sector. To achieve this, we will continually share our learning and resources with our members and with the wider VCSE sector.

Celebrating PRIDE
June is Pride Month and an opportunity to celebrate the diversity of our communities in York. York Pride takes place on Saturday 18 June and we’ll be joining the celebrations with a stand at the Knavesmire. Find out more on York Pride’s website.
