Tune in today, Friday 8 September, at 10.30am to hear Emma and volunteer Champion from York Ending Stigma talk about the importance of safe and appropriate conversations about suicide prevention from lived experience perspectives of experiencing the thoughts and of being bereaved by suicide.

York Ending Stigma are a group of York residents, employers, and employees coming together to share, as much or as little of, their mental health experiences through a variety of means to help end mental health stigma and discrimination in York. They share their experiences for you to take from them what you choose to. They are non-competitive and do not compete in our ‘suffering’ or ‘recovery’. Each individual experience is what it is, and we share to bust myths, challenge incorrect stereotypes, and to end mental health stigma.
