We have opportunities for volunteers to support our Brain Health Cafes in Acomb and Poppleton and our Wellbeing Cafe in Acomb.
When are volunteers needed: Wednesday mornings 10am to 12 noon. Friday mornings 10am to 12 noon. Friday afternoons 1pm to 3pm.

Role description:
The volunteering roles involve welcoming people, supporting the group with activities, helping with refreshments and supporting staff to make sure that everyone has an enjoyable time at the cafe.
Skills and behaviours needed for the role:
Communication skills, empathy, kindness - experience in dementia is desirable but not essential.
Will there be a DBS check? No
Driving Licence required? No
Volunteer's own vehicle required? No
