Role description:
You'll get the chance to do a variety of tasks, including supporting the Communications Officer with:
Creating a social media content calendar
Helping with social media planning and scheduling
Contributing to content creation for our website and social media
Writing and editing blog posts
Finding new business and partnership opportunities for the Carers Discount Card
Keeping the Carers Discount Card updated and relevant
Providing admin support
This role is a great chance to boost your communications and marketing skills. While the main focus is on the tasks above, you'll also have the freedom to explore and contribute to other areas of communications based on what you know and your availability.

What will the volunteer gain/benefit from:
All volunteers will have access to induction training such as Carer Awareness Training, Safeguarding Training, Young Carers, Young Adult Carers and Adult Carers online Training, as well as any other free training that is made available to us.
All volunteers have access to staff support and a chance to connect with other volunteers.
We are keen to work with volunteers who have a passion to learn and grow.
